We
are a school of non-confessional character, loyal to the principles
of the Fourth Way and dedicated to the study and development of the
Being.
We teach and explore practical ways, which enable
us to live in a more real way, in contact with ourselves, with others
and the world that surrounds us.
Below
is presented the calendar of classes, workshops
and retreats of the Work and the Gurdjieff Movements to develop during
course 2007-2008. Apart from the cities where we already develop activities,
we are willing to travel to any other where there are people interested
in the Work. Do not hesitate to contact us.

A
Typical Seminar Daily Curriculum
- Gurdjieff´s
Movements and Sacred Dances:
introduction
and practice of dances coming from the Sufi, Tibetan Buddhist, Esoteric
Christian and Pythagorean traditions. The combination of these Movements
expresses different sensations, produces several levels of concentration
of thought, creates necessary efforts in different functions and shows
the possibilities of individual force.
- Inner
and centering exercises:
these exercises help us to create an appropriate inner state for the
practice of self-observation and movement, developing attention and
subtler perception.
- Subjects
of self-study:
psychological aspects of the Gurdjieffian system. An invitation to
self-observation, non-identification and transformation of "the type
of person" we are beyond our judgment.
- Practice
of attention and "sensing":
basic tools of this work. Attention as impartial concentration of
force and sensing as a higher step of being aware.
- Erick
Hawkins Technique of opening the body:
it helps centering, flexibility and facility in the joints.
- Meditation's
techniques and "sittings":
coming
from different traditions. They help to dissolve our blocks, allowing
natural flow of energy in the body and favouring inner and natural
silence, without effort.
- Dance
and creativity:
opening
us to the joint of the body in sensation, discovering that the body
is not only a thing that moves.
- Dialogue
and sharing:
Movements
are something more than a spectacle that is received through the eyes
or exercises that must be dominated. We need to be conscious of the
"language" of which they are composed, of the nature of the emergent
energies and the appearance of impulses and feelings. We will dedicate
part of our time to share these perceptions.
- Silence:
Movements´ teaching is done in silence.
These practices support self-observation, non-identification,
and the search for an awakened consciousness free from conditioning.
The program is included within a theoretical-practical frame that
makes the integration of the experience and the ideas possible.
Experience in dance, corporal expression
or meditation is not necessary. In order to attain the maximum benefits
from this program, regular attendance to the meetings from the participants
is suggested and a receptive attitude towards the new experiences
that may arise in the body-mind. The aim of these seminars is to
vivify our life with attention and awareness.
